Contemplating rhinoplasty
I certainly have a prominent nose, but am unsure if making it smaller would even fit my face at all. Perhaps theres some type of other revision rhinoplasty that would be appropriate for me, such as tip rhinoplasty.
Believe it or not, I went all throughout high school and pledging a ruthless fraternity without anyone ever saying anything about my nose. I had gone in for a septoplasty to correct a deviated septum and noticed that my front profile changed as the tip droops more. I also heard someone complain of a similar thing. I then took a profile shot from the side and wasn’t really sure what to make of it; im not a bad looking guy at all from the front and think the profile is much different. This would all be done for myself and am wondering about anyone elses opinion who may be going through the same thing.
I attached a picture of a simulated program that gave me a before/after view.

I think you’re rather handsome from the front angle–and isn’t that the angle that matters the most? This is, however, your decision, but be extremely careful whom you choose as your surgeon as you should entertain the possibility that you may not like the result of your revision/tip plasty. While it seems like a minor surgery, I have come to realize there are no such things as “minor” rhinoplasties. It seems that every part of the nose is somehow intimately connected to another, such that altering one site requires the alteration of another, etc. If you decide to have your surgery, become very educated as to your options (open v. closed surgery, for example) and consult with many doctors before choosing one and have them do predicted morphs of your nose (tip) as well as showing you before and afters of procedures similar to what you are looking for. Good luck!
