Dr. Nassif’s cases might look conservative, but isn’t taking too much off the cartilage caused the collapse in your nose to begin with? isn’t this the reason you are looking to get a revision? did you get the revision?

Just looking at the nose itself of your post revision, i dont think it looks bad at all…but again we cant see theh whole face shot so its hard to tell.

Yes, where do you live? are you willing to travel? I have had three revisions so i feel your pain. I actually have to have a nother surgery because of a septal perforation from my last surgery,,,and i went to a supposed expert! Ive done a lot of research-who did your revision if you dont mind me asking? i havent heard of the doctors you have listed. feel feel to write if you need to chat.

Hello, I am in the same situation as you. I had rhinoplasty and wish I could just have my life back. I have spent timeless hours reading posts an have realized that most revisions end up in a worse outcome. I feel very lost, sleepless nights and anxiety. However be very careful if you choose to undergo another procedure also be mentally prepared for the out come. Do not get desperate and make things worse. From the research I’ve been doing, there are far more revisions going on than primary this should tell you something.

Just desperately looking for a surgeon but all are suggesting sterotypical rounded tip etc, and I want to maintain the character of my nose

I think you’re rather handsome from the front angle–and isn’t that the angle that matters the most? This is, however, your decision, but be extremely careful whom you choose as your surgeon as you should entertain the possibility that you may not like the result of your revision/tip plasty. While it seems like a minor surgery, I have come to realize there are no such things as “minor” rhinoplasties. It seems that every part of the nose is somehow intimately connected to another, such that altering one site requires the alteration of another, etc. If you decide to have your surgery, become very educated as to your options (open v. closed surgery, for example) and consult with many doctors before choosing one and have them do predicted morphs of your nose (tip) as well as showing you before and afters of procedures similar to what you are looking for.
