How do you prepare?

Ok, so this is going to my first surgery EVER. I've never had anything done to me previously and I've never even been hospitalized. In short, I'm crazy scared. What was your experience like during your first rhinoplasty? Or better yet, what was your experience like during your other plastic surgeries? I want to know what to expect and what to do to prepare before hand! EEP! I'm scared!
